Did you know that during the holidays people tend to produce 30% more waste than they do the entire rest of the year? Let’s mitigate some of that waste production by exploring some Zero Waste gift wrapping techniques. We'll take a look at how to identify recyclable or compostable wrapping papers and inks, a Japanese method of wrapping packages called Furoshiki, and some creative ways to spruce up your gift wrapping using plants, papers, compostable ink stamps, and reusable fabrics and ribbons. Wrapping materials are provided so bring a holiday gift along with you to wrap it waste-free during this Zero Waste Gift Wrap class.
