Looking for an unforgettable summer full of fun and memories for your child? Our half-day Playground Camp offers an exciting mix of activities, including arts & crafts, games, and sports, all designed to keep your child engaged and entertained while staying onsite. Newtown Township is dedicated to providing an affordable, safe, and enjoyable camp experience. Space is limited, so don’t wait—register early! 

Playground Camp is for children entering 1st through 4th grade in September 2025!

Playground Camp Notes
  • If this is your first time going to Playground Camp, please email Matt at mattz@newtownpa.gov a current headshot of your child(ren). Photo(s) will be used in case of emergencies and only accessible to the office and Camp Director. Please include campers name when emailing.
  • Please send your camper to camp with a water bottle, snack and apply sunscreen before leaving home
  • What to leave home: Valuable items, Electronics are not permitted at camp (i.e. nooks, ipads, handheld gaming systems, etc.). We are not responsible for the safety of digital technology brought from home. Campers are responsible for whatever they bring to camp, if it is valuable please leave it at home.
  • Label all items that come to camp as a lost & found
  • Campers should bring a snack and drink(s) each day. Snack time is scheduled daily.

Pricing/Early Registration Information
A 25% deposit is due at registration. All deposits must be paid by May 15th. A $150 fee will apply for balances paid between May 16-30. Starting June 1st, unpaid balances will result in the removal of your child from the camp without a refund.

Camp questionnaire will ask for contact info, allergies, medical information, shirt size, etc. This will be emailed in mid-February and must be completed by May 15th. Campers with incomplete forms after May 15th will be removed from the camp without a refund.
