Sensational Body Scrubs • Register • View Cart •

This class focuses on making your own body scrubs using some of the materials you may already have at your home. In this class, you will learn:
  • Good Manufacturing Practices: Understand the importance of hygiene and proper procedures in DIY skincare.
  • Choosing your Exfoliant: Discover the differences between using sugar or salt as your exfoliant and why it matters.
  • The Role of Preservatives: Learn why preservatives are crucial in your scrubs to ensure safety and longevity.
  • Scenting and Coloring: Customize your scrubs with your preferred scents and colors for a personalized touch.
  • Proper Labeling: Gain knowledge on how to label your products correctly, including ingredient lists and usage instructions.
By the end of the class, you will take home four beautifully crafted scrubs and the knowledge to continue making your own at home. Previous participants of this class crafted three types of body scrubs: Waterless (Anhydrous), In-the-Shower Emulsified Bar and Soap-Based Body Scrub. To further broaden your skill set in creating luxurious body scrubs, DeGanya Aromatics has added the creation of an Emulsified Whipped Body Scrub, enriching your take-home collection.

Participants need to bring the following items:
• Apron
• Rubber Gloves (disposable type, optional)
• Scrub Making Attire - Old clothes that you do not mind getting soiled
• Tie back for long hair
• Bag to bring products home
