Art Camp with Miss Leigh

Campers will create art projects geared around popular themes. Campers will explore a variety of art mediums which may include watercolor, paint, collage/mixed media, pastel and more. Ice breaker games will be played as time permits and campers will engage in positive peer reviews. Students must be able to use scissors independently. 

Superhero Art
Campers will create mermaid-inspired art projects including but not limited to a blue & purple tie-dye shirt, jellyfish mobile, sea shell sand art and a canvas mermaid painted bag. 

Foodie Favs 
Campers will create art inspired by popular foods including but not limited to a yellow & red, mustard and ketchup-inspired tie-dye shirt, modeling clay donuts and Kawaii foodie drawings.

Animal Art

Campers will create art inspired by animals.  Projects include but are not limited to a jellyfish mobile, axolotl modeling clay figurines and lion head mixed media.
 
Movie Madness 
Campers will create art inspired by popular movies. Projects include but are not limited to a Star Wars R2-D2 collage, Emoji painting and Gremlins cube art.

Princess Party
Campers will create art projects inspired by Disney princesses.  Projects include but are not limited to a pink & yellow Aurora-inspired tie-dye shirt, Pocahontas-inspired butterfly sand art and Tangled’s Pasqual-inspired air clay figurine. 
 
Gamer Art 
Everything is awesome when you create art inspired by video games. Projects include but are not limited to a red & blue Mario-inspired tie-dye shirt, Among Us wooden figurine and 8-bit cube art.

Candy-topia
This camp is all about CANDY! Campers will create art inspired by popular candies, movies and more!  Projects include but are not limited to pink and blue cotton candy-inspired tie-dye shirt, gummy bear painting, air clay lollipops and marshmallow painting.

Kawaii
Translating to “loveable” or “cute”, this class will focus on creating adorable characters from food to animals.  Projects include but are not limited
to a Cat-ctus painting, modeling clay unicorn donuts and foodie watercolor.


*Please note that some camps are held at the Clark Nature Center and some camps are held at the Newtown Township Administration Building.

Due to supply/demand, some projects can be substituted for equal value if delayed in shipping.
