Pet Portraits in Pastel

This class will focus on rendering pets using pastels. Through the process of layering and blending, we will create a variety of textures such as fur. We will also focus on capturing the unique expression and personality within the eyes of our furry friends.

Strathmore 400 series Toned Tan drawing paper (11x14)
Prismacolor Premier Nupastel soft (set of 24)
Kneaded eraser
Generals white charcoal pencils
Dark charcoal pencils (2B, 4B)
Double sided shaders
Blending brushes
Chamois cloth
Sandpaper
Razor blade or X-acto knife
Krylon workable spray fixative
