Art Camp with Miss Leigh (ages 5-6)

In these art camps, students will create art projects geared around popular themes. Various mediums will be explored which may include acrylic painting, pastel, mixed media/collage, 3D design, modeling clay, watercolor and more! Story time, games and movement will be incorporated as time permits.
All campers should bring a nut-free snack and filled water bottle. Please “dress for mess”.
Instructor reserves the right to substitute a project with equal or higher value.
Superhero Art
Art saves the day! Campers will create art projects inspired by super heroes. Projects include painting a canvas cape, pizza-loving reptile handprint painting, comic bubble wrap printmaking and painting their own wooden spaceship. Story time, games and movement as time permits.
NEW! Art on Safari
Let your campers explore their wild! Projects will be inspired by safari animals and the jungle. Projects will include: sand art animal necklaces, flamingo handprint painting and binoculars. Campers will learn about animals, go on a guided scavenger hunt, play games and have outdoor play time as time and weather permit.
NEW! Great Outdoors
Take a walk on the wild side! All the creations in this camp revolve around nature and the great outdoors. Projects include designing a canvas drawstring bag, owl art, spice watercolor bears and binoculars. Campers will learn about animals, go on a guided scavenger hunt, play games and have outdoor play time as time and weather permit.
NEW! Sweet Treats
How Sweet it is! Campers will create projects inspired by popular candies and sweets. Projects will include kool-aid watercolors, air clay lollipops, cotton candy collage, fruit roll up and gummies necklace, and spiced watercolor graham bears. This camp uses real food in some projects. Story time, games and movement as time permits.
