This class begins with the fundamental concepts of value and texture, essential for creating depth and interest. Students will learn how to draw and shade basic shapes like spheres, cylinders, and cubes before progressing to more complex objects. Each week includes dedicated time for students to select a still life subject to draw independently, while receiving supportive guidance from the instructor.

Whether you are a beginner looking to develop your skills or an experienced artist wanting to refine your techniques, these classes suit all levels. Join us!

Required Materials
• 9 x 12 or larger sketchpad
• colored pencils
• two or more charcoal pencils
• drawing pencils and an eraser
