ARTcycling is a sustainable practice that helps reduce waste and minimize the impact on the environment. By upcycling old items, we can reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills and decrease the need for new raw materials to be extracted and processed.This process also allows for creativity and innovation, as individuals can come up with unique and personalized creations by repurposing old materials. Upcycling can be done with a wide range of items, including clothing, furniture, and household items. It is a great way to give new life to old objects and showcase craftsmanship and creativity.Overall, upcycling is a win-win solution for both the environment and individuals looking to create something new and unique.Projects include: Fabric bowls, paper beads, plastic bottle flowers, self-watering planter and more.

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM    Tarot for Beginner’s - Tarot for Beginner’s - Part I
This is a beginner’s class for anyone interested in the fascinating and esoteric world of Tarot. You'll learn all the meanings of the cards, combinations of cards, various layouts, and types of readings. The course is designed in 3 parts but this first class will still teach you what you need to do readings. Should you decide to continue to parts Two and Three, our explorations will continue with the symbolic meaning of the imagery, significance of the colors, the connect to astrology, and larger and more extended layouts. You'll learn the proper way to interpret the cards so that your readings are respectful and helpful to the maximum. Teacher, Robert Hazzon, has been reading cards for over 45 years and has a enthusiastic following on Facebook and has been teaching Tarot at various Parks and Recreation Departments for over two years now. Sitting at a desk or computer all day takes a toll on more than just your eyes. It affects your posture, metabolism, risk of anxiety or depression and can lead to obesity, just to name a few . . .Aesha’s approach to Yoga is an effective training to counter the effects of habitual slumping and spinal compression. In this training we will strengthen the spine, pelvic floor and abdominals, while stretching the tight muscles which lead to a hunched posture. This training will offer simple and practical asanas (poses) for every fitness level. This specialized Yoga program is a fantastic way to combat the negative effects of sitting at a desk all day. Music and props create an engaging classroom setting while teaching body awareness, fine and gross motor skills, and creative expression. In this training we will strengthen the spine, pelvic floor and abdominals, while stretching the tight muscles which lead to a hunched posture.
